Our Story.....
Supporting gardeners since 1938........
East and West Ardsley Allotment and Gardens Association are passionate about horticulture and bringing together both novice and seasoned gardeners. With a history that dates back to 1938, we have been promoting the joys of gardening for over 80 years. From war time "victory" gardens which helped provide vegetables and fruit that saved the nation, to the gardens and allotments of today, acknowledged as good for the environment, wildlife, and people, we have helped gardeners on their gardening journey.
Gardening remains one of the most enduring past times and is acknowledged to improve mood and increase physical wellbeing, which is good for everyone. Just growing a few herbs on the kitchen windowsill, or some flowers or vegetables on the balcony, will uncover the enjoyment and satisfaction gardening can bring.
So, if you are just starting out , or seasoned “Green Fingers”, have a large patch of soil or just a couple of pots on your patio, gardening does wonders for your spirit. Also, the gardening community is a great way to meet people and talk about your endeavours!
Growing something from scratch can be so rewarding. Our members shop stocks a wide range of products for allotments and gardens to help every gardener choose the very best to make all their gardens grow.
